ROMSWOOD FARM OPEN DAYS – PEONIES – SATURDAY 25th Nov 2017
Romswood Farm will open the gates to its magnificent peony farm this coming weekend. Romswood is located in Kerrie, deep within the beautiful Macedon Ranges and is approximately 35 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
Visitors are welcome to explore the established gardens or wander through the fields of blooming peonies where they can pick their own bunch to take home.
Visitors bring a picnic, pack a rug and also enjoy some of the tasty food available at the farm. There will be live folk music and visitors can indulge in the peony products made on site at Romswood.
Children should take the nature walks around the Romswood home.
Romswood Farm has been growing peonies since the mid 1990s. The cool climate of the region creates perfect peony growing conditions, echoing those of the imperial gardens of China where the peony originated and continues to be revered as a symbol of peace, stability, distinction and wealth.
Romswood Farm, 155 Cherokee Road, Kerrie, is open this coming Saturday and Sunday, November 25 and 26, from 11am – 4pm.
Pre-purchased tickets are available online for $10 or on the gate for $12, children are free.
