Lancefield Romsey Lions Park Community Day 15th May 2022

The Lancefield Romsey Lions Club will be running a “Community Day” at the Lions Skate Park on the 15th May 2022 between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

We plan to have four activities happening and they will be:-

  • Community Evaluation seeking the children and parents’ input on what should be built to enhance the skate rink. The estimated cost for this revamp will be approximately AU$700k.
  • There will be a number plate safety screw drive conducted in conjunction with our local Police Force and KidzFlip.  These screws can only be removed with a special tool.  KidzFlip will have one of our race carts on site for inspection as well. Please see: www.KidzFlip.org.au
  • Street Art.  We would like to run a competition for kids that will involve doing Street Art on the toilet block in the park. We plan to have someone teach the kids on how to do street art correctly, not just to do graffiti.  At this stage we are only seeking information as to what the kids feel they would like to do.
  • A BBQ ( Sausage Sizzle) to be run by Lions.
