The Romsey Lancefield Rotary Club Inc has been actively selling raffle tickets over the past few months with two prizes on offer. For $2 a ticket one had the opportunity to win a new trailer full of red gum firewood and (second Prize) a RYOBI Line trimmer.
The Trailer was purchased from Sunshine Trailers by the Rotary Club and the Red Gum wood was donated by Romsey StockFeeds (Mark Shepherdley) and The Wood Guy
Second Prize was donated by Bunnings Sunbury (Ryobi Line Trimmer)

MRSC CEO Peter Johnston addresses the business breakfast with a presentation involving the MRSC strategic planning, the statistics of the Shire, the importance of Industry and Tourism and the Council Services. The Financial Statistics were discussed, property evaluations, the Rates Calculation, the Community Satisfaction Survey, the impact of issues facing local government today and the detailed proposals for Romsey township (including the Proposed Junior Pavillion at Romsey PS, the proposed Senior Pavillion at Romsey Park, and the Romsey Community Sports Oval Project).

Financial Planner Patrick Quigley talked about the Global economy and the pressures facing investments and superannuation funds. He discussed investment strategies in the current market, the high Australian dollar and its impact on exports as well as the mining boom (which appears to have plateaued out at the moment). RRBATA President Jenny Stillman presented Patrick with a RRBATA Showbag.

THE YOGO’S present Flexercise, starting in term 4. A yoga program for 3-5 year olds. Each class is based on the characteristics of different animals and encourages learning about animals and the world they live in. Thursday morning classes.
